Well the vet has just left after another visit. Her bloods didn't show what i had wanted (a viral infection) they showed some inflamation which we expected but it also showed her liver enzymes where raised. But that could be due to her age. So today they took a scraping from her eye and some samples from two of her lumps (we also discovered some more lumps on more lymph glands). The samples are being sent off for analisis tonight so i have to waight for more bloody results to come and we don't seem any closer to discovering whats wrong. Everyone i know keeps asking me why the vets don't know and slag my vets off but i don't think it's that simple they have been talking to specialists but noone seems to know whats wrong. There just seems to be test after test but with no result. I just wish someone would support me as Lucy is my whole world and that world is falling appart at the mo and the only people who seem to be supporting me are the nice hhoers who have read my other posts. Thankyou all you have helped keep me sane. The only good thing is Lucy seems well in herself and the blood has stopped coming from her eyes. Oh well i guess i shall continu to play the waiting game and worry myself sick.

So sorry to hear that the results didn't hold what you had hoped for. Please take some comfort from your own words - Lucy seems well in herself.

I can't pretend to know how you're feeling, but can sympathise - my dog was diagnosed with cushings disease about 1 year ago, which pretty much means the end is coming. At the moment she is happy and enjoying life so I'm not even considering pts. But the waiting and worrying really does make you ill, please try not to stress too much (as ridiculous as that sounds) as you'll make yourself ill. As long as she's happy, that's the main thing for now.

Thanks. She is fine at the moment, she has regular tests and lab say they've never seen a case so well managed. Phew.

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack your post.

Make sure you take care of yourself, I'm sure you've done all you can for Lucy and now it's just a waiting game unfortunately. Take some time out for yourself.
