Another naming thread

Hot Topic - remember 'a happy birthday to Toby'?

Toblerone

I don't even like chocolate - does that make me odd :D

Toblerone was an early idea as his stable name was Choccy, it just did not suit him but Toby came from Toblerone which is rather spooky really, you weren't listening in were you??

Time Lord

Time M'Lord

I like Time M'Lord

So many choices, will sort out a short list and consult with himself to see what he thinks, as long as there is nothing in it for him I don't suppose he really cares but they need a good name to go out with, something that makes a statement and shows the owner has put thought into it.

I think a show cob needs a strong name. They move with power, often have a 'wise' look around their faces and with their wide nosebands and a double bridle they should give a no nonsense, up for any challenge look.

I will continue to dream that I have Hallmark looking over my stable door.

That is why I am struggling with the name, they should be strong and straightforward, he is not really a show cob, not a top level one, but is very much the type, he is improving in shape and having lost half his tail, length and top pulled and now losing some incorrect muscle off his neck and gaining a better shaped bum can add that extra quality, he may just be worth taking out as a novice.
He has the look in his face, knows it all and very bold looking through the bridle. he is certainly growing on me.

The next decision is whether to hog or not!!!!

I do love Springsteen!!! A great link to "The Boss" and a solid, strong, one-word name that is very memorable!

ETA what is the "time" connection that you were keen on? Might help with suggestions :)

Springsteen is going on the list, the time connection was really down to his inbuilt clock and attitude to life, he thinks he is in charge of the yard and when he wants something he demands it.

He sounds lovely, when will we see photos?

Some good names suggested so far and not even read thee whole thread. My thoughts are:

Time bomb
Dynamo
Time piece
Times up
Time out
24 hours
Time is money
Time machine

I'll keep thinking.

Let us know what you decide.
