Completely addicted!! Number 3 will be here in a few months, then that will be it (until we have puppies) ?Both are lovely - have you become an addict?!
I know feel I’m missing out - what’s made them so addictive other than being utterly beautiful?Completely addicted!! Number 3 will be here in a few months, then that will be it (until we have puppies) ?
It's weird, I had not really considered them before, but I went with my mother in law to visit her smooth MD pup at the breeders and I met Ginny's mum (the cream long haired), and I was smitten! Beautiful dogs with beautiful personalities. They come in lots of pretty colours, which means you can't just have one (the third puppy joining us is a silver dapple)I know feel I’m missing out - what’s made them so addictive other than being utterly beautiful?
(OH has a hankering for a shaded cream mini LH so there’s definitely motivation to me asking)
Got the lab wrapped around her paw as well ?

She is just the best natured nanny-lab!! Ola wasn't allowed her own puppers as, despite coming from parents with excellent scores, her hips were less than perfect, not awful, but not good enough that we would have wanted to breed from her. She would have been an excellent mum, but is content to be an adoptive mum to the little fluff balls ?What is it with labradors cuddling puppies? Do they all do it?
Lovely pic!
How do you find things in terms of with jumping, furniture etc? Having a Pembroke corgi, also long and low but not as long and low as dachshunds, we restricted jumping, furniture etc up until about 12 months but they generally are ok then as long as you’re sensible and they aren’t too far. I know some dachshund breeders say none at all to jumping, furniture etc (then again so do some corgi breeders!)It's weird, I had not really considered them before, but I went with my mother in law to visit her smooth MD pup at the breeders and I met Ginny's mum (the cream long haired), and I was smitten! Plus I have pretty much hung up my riding boots for now, apart from having the kids ponies, so needed something else to concentrate on!
I have always wanted to get into breeding and showing, but it is only now that I feel I have enough time to dedicate myself.
