Sister and I seem to have accquired another lovely horse to add to our collection! He's a 14.1, 8 year old gelding called Toby. To cut a long story short, a girl on our old livery yard had a pony bought for her by her grandparents, decided he was too much for her, made numerous excuses not to ride him and eventually admitted that she had completely lost interest in riding. He was put up for a sale a few days before we left but grandparents had grown really attached to him and decided they couldn't bear to part with him. Their health meant it wasn't easy for them to continue looking after him so we were offered him on permanant loan with a view to buy him in a year or so. He arrived up here a few days ago and is causing havok in our little 'herd'!
They're starting to settle though and I'm sure everything will quiet down soon. (*crosses fingers*) I've not taken any pictures since he's been up here but have a few of my sister riding him at our old yard. Any comments are welcome!
Love the last one as he actually looks reasonably chilled and is stretching down a bit more - he's usually a bit of a tank in canter!
