it is absolutely not personal. I think messing with people, their lives and such a sad tragic case (factual or not) is very very wrong - this should not be happening on this forum.

This person is being foolish by trying to antagonise people and that's not good or kind. IMO

She is antagonising people? Where? All I have seen is her responding to questions to the best of her ability, whilst remaining within the legal constraints.

In your world it would appear that only one side of a story should be put before the courts and the public? Is that what you are saying? There should be no defence allowed?

Have read with interest some of the comments here and am new to the forum, I understand that this is the point of the forum for people to air their view but it does seem to me that everyone inc mj needs to get a grip and wait for the factual evidence to emerge in the months to come I am sure there are people who support JG and who may not feel able to speak out now but likewise should we condemn before we know the facts surely the case of Shannon Mathews points out that all is not always as it seems!!
 
Much as I hate to say it, irritating as MJ is with their endless quotes and replies to everyone, I agree with Tia and Viewfromahill. There is no disputing MJ is intelligent - it takes intelligence to string coherent arguments together time after time, and more patience than I have to repeatedly batter down the arguments presented by other posters.

However, I can't help but feel there is a certain smugness comes through in MJ's writing; an 'I know something you don't know' (but I can't/won't tell you what it is) which is not helpful to MJ either being taken seriously or welcomed for impartiality.

MJ - Why do you continually provide spades for folks to dig holes and bury themselves with? Are you enjoying this?

They way you come across worries me almost as much as how this mess is going to pan out.

I feel like going to these sales myself, buying up every single 'rubbing rag', giving each one a week of 'heaven' with food and shelter and then taking them to Turner's or Potter's. At least I'd sleep nights.

There is no need for abuse in any form and it is this, almost more than anything, I object to. Are you prepared to defend JG's handling of horses too, and say he is a compassionate man who treats the 'pet' and meat animals with kindness and humanity at all times?

I personally think that is a matter of opinion. Say for example you and I was standing next to eachother and we saw someone loading a horse onto a box which wasn't an easy horse to load.....you and I may have different opinions as to how he went about loading the horse. You may say he handles it wrongly while I may say he handled it well - and vice versa.
 
So, in effect, if you could enlighten us about your certain knowledge, reveal your identity/proximity to JG and all that surrounds this case, we would all sleep easy in our beds?

Re 'smugness', it's a case of how you often phrase things - a teasing kind of way you write things. People are very saddened and upset about the plight of these horses and you do seem to be deliberately antagonising folks by not being explicit - just promising 'all will be revealed', and disputing that JG is a meatman, with 'a number' of dead horses in his fields and other various creatures in poor to miserable condition.

I agree, there are varying levels of care and not everyone needs to see only their horse's ears above it's bedding, but as regards handling and general conduct around them, I believe him to have one (albeit not uncommon) approach to the handling of horses, which is certainly of no help to him in this case.

If I were allowed to his home

could see his stock at least fed, watered, sheltered and treated with a modicum of respect, regardless of their future, then there would be no charges against him from me

I cannot believe this thread is still going this morning. Can I repeat again that if people are not careful they may end up jeopardising the outcome of the court case. Please lets just all leave it alone until we know the true facts!

Neither can I......everyone really needs to take a step back and realise the damage that could be caused.
What part of you might Jeopardise the case do some find difficult to understand?
 
If MJ feels that it is not her place to reveal the info she knows then i can think of a very good solution to all this....MJ stop posting and everyone else stop asking.

Once the court cases are over everyone will Im sure have a chance at 'I told you so.....' Until then lets just be patient and stop jeopardising the outcome, whichever way it goes.

No it is not my place so thats why I hold back. However, this does not mean I cannot comment and ask people to THINK.

Most people here just want to hear a one sided story to which they have no FACTS on. It saddens me to think that they all claim to be horse lovers but don't like it when someone is here telling them that it is not as the media has been reporting...To me this is rather strange. Yes, they have questions to which I cannot answer because of it not being my place - but why not just STOP mentioning this case, the horses, and JG altogether then? Why not quit with the outcry etc? Because none of you know that FACTS yet try to shout me down. It seems that it's okay to drag JG through the mud without actually knowing FACTS but it's not acceptable by most here for me to actually tell people that they don't ave FACTS and ask them to THINK and THINK LOGICAL.

If it's not acceptable for me to say what I feel and KNOW, then it shouldn't be acceptable for anyone to be making comments either one way or the other.

As long as I have breath in my body - with what I know, and as long as the name Jamie Gray is being dragged through the mud, and as long there are people abusing their authority/power, I will NOT be SHUT UP. Not ever.

.......and that is a FACT!!

I will not let lawless actions and people get in my way.

And when this case is done with - I will be searching out other victims of people with power to fight their corner too if I am fortunate enought to find out FACTS.
