Have been my most irritating borders so far, as in breed.....all pedigrees all had no manners and owners are spenks with them....would be happy not to board the again

Haha.........close cavey the one that has tested my pateints is very doberman like, and I would not be given one for free......although we have done through the rescue

1, Weimaraner
2, Beagle
3, Visla........ (not annejens) from HHO he stayed at mams and he was a star.

All my spaniles are pretty cool customers and the terriers suprisingly have been rather cool aswell, this is my most annoying top 3 of over 100 clients.

We have a Beagle puppy at training, those owners don't know whats to come!!! Wait till they are looking for the little darling for hours in the woods when it gets bigger, did chuckle to myself, yes it does come back to you (eventually) when called in a hall!!!

Lol....ignorance always springs to mind when I think of beagles and spiv to describe most of their owners.not all mind you "before I get rolliked"

Well the beagle ran up to and stood right in front of two dogs who were giving it pretty obvious 'bugger off' signals and the owners failed to respond to four or five polite requests to call it and put it on a lead. Just caught up with it and kept walking...

I am going to be open about it: I absolutely loathe Cairn terriers. There are two that are positively evil at the dog park; so far they've had scraps with two Goldens, a Lab (which ran around with a still-barking Cairn in its mouth

), Stella, a Boxer, and a retired GSD police dog. Aside from those two, every single one we've encountered on a walk has been a snarling, unpleasant nightmare. Please, please, if you have a Cairn that can restore my faith in the breed, I'd love to hear a positive story.

I'm surprised about the Viszlas, Cayla. They seem a bit bouncy, but sweet at the core.

I had been warned they are dim but I have never seen a dog with such vacant eyes!

I've never known one personally, unfortunately, but I've always read Afghans are v. aloof, not stupid at all

My old neighbours have had three Cairn terriers, their first dog I new since he was a puppy when me and my mother helped with puppy-sitting. The second was a bitch that they got when she was a few years old and her owners was getting divorced (both wanted the four large dogs but neither wanted H, who was sent back to her breeder and then came to live with my old neighbours). When she died some years later the breeder gave them a retired brood bitch of about 5 years of age.

The dog was adorable and we helped out with dog-sitting all his life and no matter how old he got, when either of us came in to take him out for a walk, he would lie down with the tummy up and wiggle his bottom and tail in happiness over seeing us.

Though admittedly he did have one habit that annoyed me, the walk always began with him wanting to pee every fifth to tenth metre and every time he first wanted to pee standing in one direction, then he would turn 180 degrees and pee again before turning back 180 degrees to pee a third time. But he knew I only allowed him to do that a few times and once I said it was enough of that, he accepted that.

If their dog owning granddaughter couldn't come and trim their dogs claws, it happened that I did it and there was never any problem with them coming in to our house and meeting our cats, though that they weren't used to cats. And it certainly was never any problems with them meeting my dogs, regardless of where it happened.

I do feel I knew the male dog the best but they were all lovely dogs, as have others been that I've met briefly. A little bit stubborn and certainly capable of making their own mind up if their owner doesn't let them know different but overall definitely a breed I would recommend.
