There's gotta be something in the water! :(

Her ladyship has 'gone' six times today and not one has been anywhere near solid; the latest sounding the exact same as when you get to the end of a Fairy liquid bottle and squeeze to get the last bit out. :o It'd almost be funny if she weren't slightly off colour, she's not normally a cuddly dog and has spent the afternoon variously lying on my feet or demanding lap space.

Tummy isn't sore to palpate, drinking normally and no blood in the poop. Still running around like a hooligan on walks. Do we still give cooked chicken and rice these days to settle a tum or has it been too long since I last had a dog?!

2 of mine have a tummy bug of some description too! Milo and FLora...its ALWAYS Milo and Flora!!

Yep starve for at least 12 hours and then go onto chicken and rice.

I starve them for 24 hours, although encourage her to drink lots of water, then onto chicken and rice. If she is fine in herself I wouldn't worry too much, but just give her a quiet day tomorrow.

What are the AAD dogs up to today?

My two have eaten all sorts of dead and minging things on their walk today and seem to be fine so far!:rolleyes::rolleyes::D

I know, what's going on?!

Despite her best efforts to reach half a dead bunny yesterday (it's testament to the amount of time I've spent walking her on a 50ft line that I can accurately identify dead things from that distance :p) she hasn't eaten anything out of the ordinary, not so much as a treat or chew.

Glad to hear I'm still up to date on the chicken and rice thing, last time someone's horse was constipated and I suggested feeding a sloppy bran mash I was looked at as though I'd grown an extra head...

check out fish4dogs website, I've ordered it for other reasons, but its hypoallergenic and looks really good, my dog sometimes is a bit loose but she's been fine since starting to eat the salmon mousse on the weekend, i've ordered the dry food its on the way

Heavens only knows what they have all been up to lately!

Ruby was poorly for three days last week, my neighbours dog had the squits the week before and now a friends terrier has the same thing. None of us have had contact????? Go figure.

I starve for 24hrs then go onto boiled chicken and rice until things start to solidify (tiny meals every three hours) and then slowly reintroduce normal food.

Solid poops have returned. :D Took a couple of days on chicken and rice before they firmed up but she's back on her normal food now - fingers crossed that's it over. Still can't for the life of me think of anything that would have sparked it off, must just be one of those things, funny coincidence that so many have had it at the same time.
