If you've already seen this elsewhere apologies, it may stop some poor soul getting done so here it is:

Trading Standards is warning of the following scam. A card is posted through your door from a company called PDS (Parcel Delivery Service) suggesting that they unable to deliver a parcel and that you need to contact them on a premium rate number. Trading Standards are advising you not to call as this is a scam originating from Belise; as soon as you start to hear a recorded message, the average cost of the phone call is £315.00. Anyone receiving such a card is urged to contact Royal Mail Fraud on 0207 239 6655

Thanks for that, must be quite lucrative at this time of year, with people buying stuff over the iternet for christmas. How often do you know who is going to deliver your parce?

Must admit, alot of people me included, are likely to fall for this, I have parcels from suppliers coming in all the time and I can't be here all the time to sign for them as I work from a workshop at home and need to go out sometimes so I too would probably have phoned up!
£315 that's a hell of a lot to lose isn't it!
Oz :)

Was warned about this one on facebook & shared it further (didn't think to share on here tho) Good on you for sharing on here as can see why people could fall for it, the more people aware of it the better!

I almost fell for this one a couple of years ago but mislaid the card so never rang them!!

I only found the card (down the back of a radiator?!?) after I'd heard it was a scam.

Someone's looking after me. :D
