Another sharer bites the dust *sigh*

**mini "rant" alert**

Why is it so impossible to get a sharer... and when you finally find a good one, there is strings attached and then after 6 weeks they announce they can't continue.

Yep that is what I have just had this evening.

Had a brilliant girl share my girl, but she is studying in london, thus no car, so being nice an all I run her to the station and back. Tonight she anounces that she is giving me notice, as she is finding horses and studying are not mixing.

*sigh*

now I have to start all over again

sorry guys...... but I feel better now I have told someone else

ETA..... I am not mad at my sharer..... bless her she did give me notice....... it is more the frustration of it all.

! I found a massive load of shares from local unis around me in september/october time but now my friends cant seem to find many either - think it might just be over-enthusiatic freshers thinking they can take on more than they can. So sorry for you

I no how your feeling, I wanted a sharer/rider found a girl lasted about 3months as i think she would have rather been down town with her mates, just found another young girl and I don't think shes right for my pony!

i currently share a pony, and have done for almost 10 months now - before me, the owners had 2 different sharers in the space of 2-3 months, which clearly wasnt ideal.
you'll find the perfect sharer tho im sure, just might take some time, and patience!
 
mmm I know exactly how you feel. Just made me feel like it ain't worth the hassle of trying to get someone to be honest. Cut purse strings and cut back on most of the things you used to enjoy ( outside of horses), that's what I did.
Or else draw up a contract so if you take on someone they are in it for the long haul or as long as you want them to be. If they agree at the start to do that and you are fair and have say a month's trial at the start ( for both parties) then I think that may work. If they default after the trial ( unless good reason as horse is injured and cannot be ridden etc) then they should have to pay a penalty. That is what I think anyway after being messed about which has caused me a few headaches, after mistakenly thinking I was all set up for winter (especially).
