Sentences being too lenient thats what! If they had something to put them off rather than a good talking too it might dter the gutless little sh!ts!!! makes me sooo angry

It shouldnt just be down to threatneing this spitefull Bas****s why are they not being bought up with Self respect and respect for everyone else in the world espicaly respect for their elders! Kids do nto seem to be taught right from wrong!
It makes me so angry to read stories like this. But what can we do about it? I know if this was my nan or if I knew this lady Id go out find who done it and kill them!
The Cray twins had the right idea !

Some people are unbelievable, honestly - go out and work for your own £50 you lazy little git. Poor woman probably doesn't get too much more than that on her pension, it's not as if she can go out to work and even earn it back.
If someone did this to my nan I would personally take a baseball bat to them myself - any punishment he get via police won't be enough.

Because unfortunately, there is no rule who can breed in this world and to a lot of people their kids are their meal tickets. They are brought up without respect in their lives so they know no different and it just becomes a lifestyle to be like that.
People should be authorised before they are allowed to have kids and if they are leeching off society then it should be an outright no! But then I suppose we are entering the realms of becomming dictatorial! I appreciate all circumstances are different but there is a generally a stereotype for a reason. I am preparing to be shot down for that but it really riles me!

No I am with on that, I was only saying this to my dad the other night when we were watching something about young mums and benifits ect.
In the same respect that I wouldnt get a pet and expect someone else to pay to look after it I would have children knowing I couldnt afford it!
I know accients happen but to carry on popping them out after 1 that you cant afford it wrong!
Now I think Im gonna get shot for this

I'll stand in the range with you though! They were talking about that TV show on radio 4 last night (I was station hopping!) and the woman was saying that these people shouldn't be entertainment as they weren't a freak show or anything.. I really wanted to ring up and state that I wouldn't watching because I saw them as a freak show and wanted to laugh at them; I would be watching to see benefit leeching morons being made to go back to work.. As far as single mums go, I understand that it is cheaper for them not to work due to child care etc and I blame the government there but as you say, an accident is one thing.. to continue is just downright selfish stupidity and they should have their benefits and children removed!! The kids in these situations don't stand a chnce, I see it everyday near where I live and my heart goes out to the poor little things as the mothers don't deserve to be respionsible for another life, the way they behave round them and speak to them is utterly disgusting! grrr

Actually I agree with you aswell (and I'm one of those 'horrible teens' LOL actually I'm not anymore but I was 2 months ago.)

This country is an absolute joke-

I was watching a programme (I think it is a series) about young teen parents last week. Most of them say 'it was an accident' and some of them haven't even finished school, are that many teens really incapable of using contraception or is it just a ticket out of having to do anything for the next 18 years??

I was also reading the other day about people smuggling children that aren't their own into the country so they could claim child benefits.

I know how to fix this - stop letting imigrants in the country (unless they are useful i.e doctor - we don't need yet another imigrant to work in mcdonalds or a clothing store.) I know it is completely nothing to do with this post but jeez I'm thinking I should move out of this country just so I can get a flippin' job.

The Goverment makes it so so easy for kids then finishing school to think well if I get pregant I wont have to work and the goverment with give me a fully furnished house or flat and then theyll pay me each day I sit here doing nothing and so I dont loose out when it finishes school ill pop another one out.Makes me so mad, I know thats how it happens I used to listen to this unambicious low lifes at school they had it all mapped out.Theyre not as stupid as they look.
Though am all for throwing tax money at these people to help them make get back on their feet and try to learn new skills and get a job

the whole single mother thing is a joke, i was at one point a single mother but it didnt give me the right to sit on my backside and do naff all, it made me want to work all the more harder to get somewhere, those that seep benfits generally end up with little thugs who attack pensioners as in the original storey, if they cant find a job stick them in the army for a couple of years, then give the choice find a job or go back in
this countrys a joke, sorry this sort of thing realy gets to me

It's rubbish about not being able to work and get child care. Plenty of people do. My friend works for a catalogue call centre from home when the kids are in bed. I started my own company (with a credit card and £500 admittedly, but could have got there with less) and work hours to suit, another friend who is a single parent makes stuff and sells it through her website, and has never claimed any benefits, and affords her own accomodation from her earnings.

However in the under 25s generally I have noted a lack of aspiration unless it's handed on a plate, lack of willingness to work hard in the hope that the effort will be noticed (they all want paying top notch from the word go) and a lack of simple initiative (if it looks like it needs doing get on and do it, not need to hang about waiting to be asked!). Is this due to being brought up in a different era to me?

I think youngsters of today have it all too easy. When I was in my teens I had to work for my pocket money. Admittedly I supplimented it with my own little business of hand made nick nacks and gifts a la Blue Peter and made my parents pass round hand written and illustrated catalogues of my wares at work and take orders which perhaps now is a little cringeworthy.....

See it's not all of us - just the majority

LOL

Im 21 and I have not been out of work since i was 14 and I was at school untill nearnly 16. I work hard for what I have and am proud to say yes I have this this and this and i paid for it myself.
My friend is a mum and she is starting her own business from home also alot of big companies offer discount and help towards child care to, I know my company does.
to may ppl in the world with no morrals, dignity, pride or respect and these type of people need to be taught a lesson.!

I was watching a thing on Benefits which is on in the mornings on daytime tv bbc1 (I was on holiday for 3 days last week)

There was a thing on there where a mother with 3 kids got £300 a week to live on.

Now with no exams, experience or qualifications the government are giving her the equivalent of £15,600 after tax, so at 31% (20% IT and 11% NI) tax thats a gross salary of nearly £20,000 (ok so have ignored personal allowances)

Now there is no way that she could go out and earn that kind of money in a job - so why work???

Government is its own worse enemy

Oh and there was a bit about the fraudsters on there, one couple managed to earned 1.2m on benefits. Now this our fault for having a blind system that keeps paying into bank accounts!!!!

And more than me with a degree and masters

That is the first time a piece of Sun journalism has made me cry. How awful I can't imagine the ordeal that woman has gone through, If they catch the buggers I'm sure all they'll get is a slap on the wrist and some tiny sentence.

Bring back national service for youngsters imo

im only 24, but i work very hard for me and my son as does my oh, but bloody hell that woman gets more than me especially after ive paid child care etc, never mind at least i can hold my head up high

This news is shocking, but very sadly becoming far too common. What I think would get the forum shut down.

That old lady was interviewed on our local tv news yesterday. She seems to an incredible person, tough as anything, she said it wasn't going to stop her going out because then the yobs would have won! If they catch them I hope they get a suitable punishment, but very much doubt it
