Got up this morning to the biggest, blackest, hairiest (sp) spider in the middle of my living room floor, they don't normally come in until end of september start of october round here!.

I now can't go in my living room for fear he may jump out at me :o, and you can guarantee by time hubby gets home later it will be hiding, until tomorrow to frighten the bejaysus out of me again.

I love autumn, hacking out on frosty mornings, but i just can not cope with giant spiders!!.

Oh im not alone then! :D

I had one above my door, could see the blimmin things eyes it was that big! So i legged it and found a glass and book, came back and it was gone  still havent found it yet :o

I once had a spider so big on my ceiling that at first glance I thought it was a bat.
Had to get my neighbour to come and get it for me.
Aaaarrrrrgggghhhh!!!!!

One jumped out on me the other day too. Unfortunately, I don't react very well to shocks like that so it is now an Ex-Spider:cool:

I know, I know, they eat flies - well they aren't going to find any of those by hiding out in my house are they? So they can blimmin well stop slacking off, or deal with the consequences (being battered with a rolled up newspaper by an unhinged woman who has one shock too many...):p

Rolled up newspaper?, i find the argos catalogue from a great height usually works well, and the great height comes from the fact i am usually stood on the sofa!!.

Why is it they find it funny to sit under said sofa, then when you walk past they reveal themselves from under the sofa, then run hell for leather across your path, puts the fear of god in me everytime.

the spiders in my house are bloody lazy things, they don't catch the flies at all so i send my kids in to get them instead. flies and spiders that is! lol
