At 6mths he's had his first walk around on a pony - loved it!!

hehe be careful what you wish for ;) my 16month old nephew had a massive tanty the other day because I attempted to go out on a hack without riding round the school with him on the front of Loll first (all 17hh TB of her)!

There is a hunt meet soon especially for 'very small children on ponies' at walk only...if only he could sit up unsupported...and I had a reasonably sized pony, not a youngster donkey...haha

No I have not, and he shall not have a Shetland - welsh all the way! (In fact, I'm hoping to acquire marmalade76's beaut of a welsh once her children outgrow her...!)

Don't worry, I won't try & persuade you to buy a first pony. Instead I will loan you a second pony when the time comes. Only 11.1 so ideally will need her when he's 6 to get a few years before she's outgrown. So get cracking on the first pony so he's ready for mine in time!

:D he looks very happy up there!

Shame, I love Shetlands... I've always joked if I ever have kids I will go shet shopping before I buy a single child-related item :p

Either way, get him a pony!!!
