I wondered if anyone has seen this before.
I just went to check Lucy was ok. She was asleep but as soon as she heard me she was whickering away to me. :) I went to get her some different feed as she hadn't touched her dinner (I put nuts in it and she obviously still off nuts so i got her sugerbeet and boild barley instead which she tucked into very happily :)) Anyway while i was getting the feed i heard her having a wee so i rushed to have a look (there has been a very small amount of blood in her stable the last two mornings :() By the time i got there she had fin so i didn't see what colour it was. In the stable where she had wee'd there was a patch of bubbles (like someone had emptyed a washing up bowl in her stable) Obviously i will call the vets in the morning but i was wondering if anyone had seen this before or had any idea what it may be
Otherwise it's just a new way for Lucy to cause me worry.

mmm yes, echo that. my boy had severe kidney stones (nearly cost him his life but that's another story) so I'm MORE than familiar with rushing to the stable to watch him wee - it's always bubbly on the shavings :)

She is on shavings but it happened in the field earlyer as well. Although she did wee on some dry old Haylidge. Maybe i'm just getting paranoid but i've been watching her wee for weeks now and it's never been like it before. It realy is like soap suds and takes ages to go. If you get what i mean.

She was on antibiotics for a urinary trackt infection the other week when she was weeing all that blood maybe it's come back again. :( :( My poor baby she doesn't need anymore to go wrong :( :(

Your vet will know best i suspect, but i have often seen horses urine to become foamy/bubbly. The old mare will wee anywhere, as and when it comes, she will not hold it in! It goes sort of bubbly on concrete as it splashes (maybe same as dry field?) and if it's a particularly big one it can also foam on bedding. Don't worry about it, but i would mention it to your vet just to make sure x

My gelding's wee bubbles up on shavings, it's probably nothing to worry about (although I can understand why you're concerned). If you're really not happy about it then phone your vet and ask them for an opinion :) good luck, hopefully it's nothing x
