Well thought I'd found the perfect sharer, she was coming again tonight to ride out with my daughter etc. she's just text me to say having thought things over she doesn't have the time to share... Gah! Why did she reply to advert then!

I have a lovely safe 15'2 easy to do gelding, you only need to turn up ride n poo pick on your days! No cleaning of tack, no feeding etc.. Why can't I find a share for him :(

Sorry.. Rant over! :)

Ha tell me about it. Ive nearly given up with mine. Had loads of people do that and the latest decided that she couldn't afford the petrol the minute I gave her the share agreement to sign.

I was a sharer myself so nothing against them, just can't seem to find one who can commit and isn't a total numpty. My favourite said she couldn't turn up cos the country lane she had to walk down from the bus was too dark - its a country lane they're often unlit?!,

I have no idea what happened to make your sharer change her mind but sometimes it can be difficult to think of an acceptable reason to tell an owner that you don't want their horse. If your horse is easy, it might not be him that put her off.

Someday before, I went for a interview scheduled in a insurance company which was so hectic for me. I face the interviewer and her silly questions like: what you think about your girl friend?, or tell me about your mentors? I didn't get the meaning of those questions but I answered them and unfortunately i was selected in that interview.

Well when she left, she was quite happy, chatting away and arranged her next visit etc. then she text the following day to say thanks and was looking forward to riding out again today.. I've no idea why she changed her mind... Guess that's just how things go. I'd get it if she was a teen but she was 44, older than me!!

Maybe its just that she didn't think it through properly. Maybe she just started thinking it would be nice but not expecting to find anything and its only now after she's seen your horse that it's suddenly dawned on her what a commitment it will be. Or maybe something has just come up that means her ability to commit to the share has changed

The best one is when they come out and see your horse, they like him etc but going to see another one later...
A couple weeks later you see they themselves are advertising for a share
