Well, the poor girl is home thankfully. Absolutely terrified when we went to collect her. Vet and nurse can't get near her she's that scared. Vet had to just open the kennel and let her make her own way up to us.
The eye looks brutal. The only way I can describe it. It turned me when she first came out but used to it now. Got her bundled off home as she was shaking and panicking.
I will post pics tomorrow of the eye but I warn you, they're not for the squeamish! I'm going to take pictures to chart the progress of the eye. Or lack of one I suppose!
She settled as soon as she came home and had a good feed and drink. Hates her lampshade! She has painkillers to take once a day and anti biotics for twice a day.
She goes back on Wednesday to get the drain removed. I would imagine she will be sedated for this.
Now she's home she's back to being my Tina, wagging her tail and rolling over to get her tummy scratched. I'm just so relived she is home! Poor Cindy is confused as to why she's not allowed near her. Tina will be staying inside until fully healed and that is her working finished for the season. (Only one month left anyways.)
