My mare is going through a faze of weeing about 80% of the times I get off her. Anyone elses horse go through a faze like this? She doesnt always do it, and sometimes does it before instead.

Is it only when you ride her? I went through loads of tests - urine, ovary's you name it and it turned out that the way her saddle sat on her back caused her to pee when I was riding her, was very uncomfy.

No sometimes she does it when I just bring her into the yard.

F does it every time you do his dinner. I think he thinks its how he "summons" it!!

Merlin ALWAYS wees when I catch him...... he walks a few paces has a wee, few more, has a poo and then may meander aimlessly up the field towards me, or he may not!!!!

Hmm well she's out with a gelding who loves her, and she follows him round like a puppy, but she does it whether he's there or not. It is usually after I ride that she does it, but sometimes before and sometimes not at all. But she has done it when I've been on her 3 times (once at a show, and we had been there for like 3 and a half hours) once in water (lol) and once after a lesson. My instructor immediately told me that she has kidney problems (what?!)
But the fact that others horses have habits has made me feel a bit better

My mare will not wee under saddle. She does get a bit OTT if she needs a wee on the way home if we have been out a long time. We went on a 5hour pleasure ride with the RC and she weed a lake when she got back into her stable. She will not wee when out in pulbic, yet she is a terrible tart and wees a lot at next doors geldings.

My mare I'm sure is on commission from the company that supplies our shavings. She crosses her legs in the bl00dy field until the INSTANT she comes in for a feed. Then head drops into the feed bowl and floodgates open on the bladder. Every single time. And she has a bladder the size of the Atlantic ocean. I'm trying to hypnotise her............
