Another 'Why do i have dogs' moment!

So, after spending the day at the Kennels on Saturday with the steam cleaner & Virkon, scrubbing and making the place smell beautiful & look squaky clean - I have been cursing myself as i lost my sunglasses & a pair of wellie socks that i could have swore were in the boot of my car!:confused:

Well, so i thought! UNTIL ...

Walked the dogs last night, went into Kensa's kennel to get her food bowl and tucked away, neatly into the very far corner of the bed i could just see the glint of a pair of sunnies! Upon investigation, said missing socks were also nuzzled under her bed! :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Sneaky little Theif! I didn't see her stealing them or taking them into her kennel :D:D
 
Heard some suspicious rustling under my desk this morning and found Henry lying on his bed with one of my wellie socks nestled between his paws and a butter wouldn't melt expression on his face... he'd been dipping into my boots!:rolleyes::D

LOL :D:D:D Why do they feel the need to nick, hide, eat, shred etc belongings that don't belong to them?! :rolleyes::D
 
Henry just cuddles my socks. It's quite sweet, until I come to need them of course:rolleyes: He's quite stubborn about giving them back:mad:

I think it's either cos they luuuurve us, or because they are plotting world domination and need to make all us humans think we are losing the plot by hiding things from us before their plans can advance:D
 
Whatever the little buggers can find on the floor :o OH must have some weird thing about not being able to put said pants into wash basket-weird. (One day he woke me up to tell me he had no socks left-then wash some!)

Funny that - I seem to have the same problem with my OH, he screams and rants he can't find his jeans for his Saturday night out to which i reply "they are probably still where you left them last Saturday night - i am NOT your slave"

Same. Bizarre! I've just organised a wash for tomorrow cos otherwise he won't have work shirts for this week. What a numpty!

Why do I have dogs?! Bear is currently chasing shadows and the reflection from the iPad on the wall-jumping up like a mental thing. Relegated to kitchen, oh dear!

So glad it's not just my OH lol!

We used to have a HWV who used to smuggle socks and suck them - she wouldn't hide them though so you'd think "ah ha socks" put them on and have horrid soggy feet :rolleyes: lol
