One of my ponies had huge wolf teeth an inch long that were not removed when he was bitted by a previous owner and this has left him with a huge aversion to being bridled
While the vet was removing these she checked and rasped the teeth of my younger pony (now just coming up for three years old) and said that his wolf teeth were tucked up behind others and not on the bitting area so they could be left in situ for his life with no problems
Obviously his teeth will be checked again before he is bitted
My question is would you not risk any problems and have the wolf teeth removed (if thats even possible considering their location) or would you accept the vets viewpoint?
