Another yard 1 or yard 2 in new year

As title suggests
yard 1 current yard about 16 horses all year turnout good grazing huge Stable. Lovely lovely liveries. However fencing very poor horses escape. School tiny floods freezes and has no lights
Yard 2 humongous indoor and outdoor door school all year turnout good fences. However stable a bit dark small but adequate bit further away from home grazing not as good

Current horse is a 3 year old cob needing broken head says move to yard 2 heart says stay at yard 1 Any advice. Anything essential I'm missing ?

Horse escape onto road = no more yard issues/possible liability claims/etc

i wouldnt stay at a yard where horses can escape, way too risky.
id be yard two all the way.since its a cob the poor grazing could work to your advantage as regards weight management

Yard 2 sounds better to me providing the stable isn't too small. The arenas will be useful when you break/ have him broken.
I couldn't put up with horses escaping.

yard 2, escaping horses would be a big no no for me..

Yeah head saying yard 2 hopefully wont miss yard 1 too much as owner and liveries are lovely
