Another yard boot thread... reviews appreciated!

After having enough of yard boots that don't last, I'm gearing more towards either walking boots or the Shires Montanna boot (after having a pair of their country boots I am wary) or the Mountain Horse Mountain Rider Classic boots which I know are made by equestrian brands but I was just wondering if anyone has got a pair of either and could shed some light as to what they are like?

Seriously go to Go Outdoors and get some walking boots. I got some Hi-tec ones, cost £39.99 and have been the best boots for the yard ever.! The equestrian boots are so over priced just because they are associated with horses...
 
That was the plan :) I found a thread on here last night where someone had said they had a pair of Hi-tec walking boots that had lasted nearly twenty years :eek:

I was just wondering about the mountain horse and the shires ones because they will be built for the job but it wouldn't surprise me if they fell apart... walking boots it is! :p
 
I bought Hi tecs after having lots of useless equestrian ones and these have lasted ages - nearly a year and I live in them!! Unlike equestrian ones which last 6 - 8 weeks (apart from Ariat and Mountain horse which last but very pricey) My hi tecs were £30...
