Does anyone know what saddle pad would work best for under this type of saddle? Was thinking sheepskin mattes half pad or thinline half pad then I can put thin cotton pads under it if i wanted to change the look. Also thought about the equitex pads? Would I need a dressage saddle pad for this saddle? It's a treeless classic dressage but not sure if it's the same shape as regular dressage saddles as the flaps seem shorter and it looks a bit different lol any advice would be appreciated! Im easily getting a headache lately about stuff! probably over thinking everything. Just want it to be comfortable for my gelding and have the best back protection with this saddle. Any advice is appreciated! X

My advice would be to get a solution fitter out. I had an Ansur for years (a Konclusion though) but had it regularly checked and it was amazing what a difference an adjustment in the shimming made. The fitter would be able to advise on suitable numnahs etc and know what make suits the shape of the saddle. I had a Solution dorsal pad (with shims for the adjustments) between the saddle and an ordinary numnah.

Recently had to retire the Konclusion due to my horse changing shape as he ages - it can no longer be shimmed up sufficiently to clear his wither. Shame as I loved that saddle.

I am using a mattes sheepskin half pad with mine, just on its own. Had my doubts whether this would be ok at first, but horse really likes it. It's a correction pad so I can add shims if I need to.
