Antares Vs Devoucoux dressage saddles ???

Devoucoux, I have 2 jumping and one dressage and I adore them, also any body who has ridden in them tells me how comfy they are!

Devoucoux also use the same leather as Louis Vuitton, where as Antares leather is much finer - not as hard wearing.
 
A vote here for the Devoucoux Milady (not the Makila!) which is the only dressage saddle I've been able to get off and be able to walk afterwards!
 
Couldn't split them.. i was lucky enough to try out both on the same day, all be it in an Antares that didn't fit me very well..

Since then, a second hand Antares at well under half price came up, in exactly the right size and fit etc. for me..
So i'm now the proud owner of an Antares, which i love!!

I wouldn't be making your mind up untill you get to ride in them both.. the are both fab saddles, it just depends on what you're looking for..
 
Don't have a dressage saddle but tried both jumping saddles and went for the Antares much better for me - fits wonderfully and like the poster above love it. Really good service had to get girth straps changed - off to france and back in ten days.
 
KJ, been looking at the Antares trade stand today, the workshop isnt far from me. There is an excellent chap, French but speaks perfect English, he was showing me the saddles,some secondhand, which I cant afford, and the bridles and girths, they were really awesome, super soft leather, wonderful stitching, they have a website, hope you find what you want.PS, if you can find what you want at a good price in the UK buy it, leather is so expensive here!
