What is this stuff actually called???, the big nets you put over the bales to keep the birds off,trying to find some on internet but not sure what size/grade is actually needed. any ideas please....

Haylage / silage nets!
You can get them from Countrywide or any farm merchant
We tried a tarpaulin last year, and that was useless (destroyed and ripped). Netting far better even if it only lasts a few years.

Another tip is don't use Black Wrap, birds seem to love it for some reason. They peck the green stuff far less.

Unfortunately they ran out of the green wrap so it was black for my bales. I have had a tarpaulin over them but can't keep it down in the wind no matter how much I tied it, it still ballooned up, so have taken it off. Will look for a net over the weekend. Thanks
