Thers a new law coming in stating that 7.5 ton and over lorries 2000 onwards have to be fitted with these lorries. i can't understand though why they haven't included all lorries of any age though
There is nothing to stop you fitting the new and or extra mirrors on an older lorry, just depends how good a view of all the frusrated motorists behind ... you would like???
I am sick of idiots sitting so close behind my lorry that I am barely aware that they are they. However, since my lorry is built like a tank, they will just bounce off me, so I don't care.
I have almost totalled 3 idiots - 1 who tried to overtake me as I turned left in to a drive (guess what f**kwit, I need to move right to turn left, almost had him in to the ditch), 1 who tried to overtake me then realised he was facing oncoming cars and a central reservation (I did nothing, he created the situation, he had to get himself out of it) and the 3rd who almost killed himself and 1 other driver (he overtook me, sped up the brow of a hill and had a side-on with a car coming out a side road - I just steered the lorry through the smouldering wreckage).
Another hidden Tax from our government.........you must pay for an extra test, insurance, tax on your fuel, a special MOT, and now - mirrors!!! Wait for it........ what will they come up with next that we have to fork out for?
They're introducting a £200 congestion charge for any lorry over 3.5 tonnes that want to drive in central London. Just in time for the Olympics. How.. sneaky?
