Shires do them, and you can buy them online here - http://www.barnstormers.co.uk/acatalog/Rug_Accessories___Repairs__Hoods__Rollers__etc.html (scroll down the page a bit)

I must admit, my horse used to get cast all of the time but I wouldnt use one. It must be really uncomfortable and put a lot of pressure on the back muscles. I have anti cat bars around my stable in rubber and I dont think he has been cast since. Good luck

A dressage horse at my old yard was prone to getting cast so they put an anti cast roller on it and it fractured its wither and did some serious damage to the surrounding muscle and is now retired. Im not sure exactly waht happened but the general jist I got was that as the horse had mangaged roll and jam the bit at the top (metal u shape bit) into the 90o angle between wall and floor and panicked. The fire brigade had to assist the Vet getting the roller off and teh horse up.

My horse has one on and so does my friends horse. I got mine from dorchester saddlery online. We have had no problems with them, just make sure they are put on tight enought dont want it slipping round

Would you want something constantly tight around you, imagine going to bed with a tight bra on everynight?? Me not like!!

My horse used to get cast - we bought a foaling stable for her rather than the standard 12' x 12' and she's never done it again. Bit of an expense but well worth it for their well being. Unless your at livery - do they have a bigger stable? xxx

the size of stable doesnt matter have private family yard and since ive had her (8 yrs) shes been in 4 different stables upgraded as others left lol and she always does it she can go months withought doing it and in the last 8 months shes done it about 4/5 times and getting cast is what my vet thinks caused a severe tendon injury she has just recovered from. my aunties old horse boo had one on for as long as i can remember and never caused him any harm. my horse just rolls against the banks for some reason shes got rubber matting and a huge bed with big banks but she still manages to do it
