Anti Casting Strips.

Has or does anybody use these? Rubber or wood? For 16.2hh 'osses how high above the ground would they need to be fitted? Any experience or advice would be much appreciated.

Sorry no idea, but a friend used an anti-casting roller on her horse.

the only place i've seen them on sale is in the Fieldguard brochure, they do a D shaped one of solid rubber to be fixed to the wall. i think they state the ideal height too... iirc it's about 4' high ish. i'd give them a call.

I nailed strips of 2x2 round the box at hip height for an elderly 12.2 who was getting cast - did the trick.

Would use bigger wood and a bit higher for a big horse though.
