Anti Fly Impregnated browbands

hi

has anyone had any experience with these, do they work?? i've also heard of some sort of disc you can put on your bridle. Does anyone know where i can get either of these?? <font color="pink"> </font>

No but I used to soak a little piece of fabric in fly repellant and wrap it around the brow band where it attaches to the head stall and on each side of the nose band and it worked a treat... possibly not quite as pretty but you can use a bridle coloured piece of fabric...

I would be worried that if they sweat a lot it could run into their eyes.. i'm sure they have tested this but some horses more sensitive than others

They are for cows called Flypor I think.
I tried them but they fell off after a few weeks, we now use spot on poured on their manes/backs which does help but it's not licenced for horses, just cows/sheep etc
