Anti Weaver Grill - best way to secure them.

the brackets fix onto the door and on the bottom of the weave grill are two prongs which slide into the brackets

I thought that was the way, but does that keep it rigid, and does it fasten to the inside or outside of the door?

Sorry for the daft questions, but never needed one until now!

we fixed ouurs on the outside as it couldn't fit on inside no problems, but using it as a saftey measure as door a bit low and worried if mare tried to jump doesn't weave.

Thanks mon, my door is low also, but new horse does weave ever so slightly, but I think ours would have to be on the inside as the hinges are too far up the door on the outside.

Would that matter do you think ?

mine is fixed on the inside as it looks smarter so you cant see the fittings and the horse cant push against the fittings if on the inside. mine is also up as mare jumps the door

Ours is on the inside and our stressy head mare hasnt managed to rip it off yet - and she did barge through our stable guard and rip it off the wall the other day!!
