Antifaz *gush gush* What a good boy *gush gush*

Okay folks, advance warning that this will be an absolutely nauseatingly gushy post about what a good boy Antifaz was today. This was a horse that could buck for Argentina and had only one canter speed; very fast. He could also canter sideways (actually, he still can) at 90degrees right in front of a fence.
Today BOF set up 2 fences at 21m, so 5 strides, then he told us we had to do them in5, 6 and 7 strides. Antifaz was absolutely foot perfect every time!!!! Then we jumped a 5.5m combination with an oxer that went up to 1.10 and again, absolutely perfect. Finally, and possibly just to see if I had the bottle he put a single oxer at 1.20 (as high as I've ever jumped) and A pinged it absolutely effortlessly....
Such a good boy!!!!

Ok, will shut up now... can hear everyone heaving up their lunches (or most likely teas by now)

US$ 4k. Has been that price since I got the ride which was at the time hugely overpriced, especially considering he has NO competition record! BOF reckons he's probably worth it now. And I've got a smug grin cos I did it!!

We've both worked really hard and I'm absolutely thrilled with him (as if you couldn't tell!) He used to be such a little sh:t!!!

I was very overexcited, saying what a good boy he was and I asked BOF if he didn't agree and he absolutely REFUSED to agree with me... which means I know I'm right because he never mentions the horse or I've been good unless I don't say a word

will be rather upset if he gets sold too quickly though (or at all actually, now that I think of it; he's sooooo sweet)

Pilar you are going to have such a great SJ season with a super duo of horses that you have made! Just hope that Antifaz does not get sold too soon- fingers crossed!

Not sure. I get a monthly 'salary' plus all entry fees paid, so I really don't expect anything. Would be a bonus if I did get a cut though

Do you have a show season out in Argentina or is it all year round like in the UK?

That would be lovely, but I don't really hold high hopes. The season in Cordoba is from March to November. I think it's longer in Buenos Aires.
