My pony has been diagnosed with allergies.
He had a high breathing rate and was coughing, was given some Dilaterol so that combined with the weather turning to rain fixed it.
The sun has come back out and the pollen count has risen, now his breathing is back up at about 25 breaths per minute. Dilaterol isn’t touching it but it does drop down when the pollen does so I want to try antihistamines.
My question is, how do I know how many to give? And what brand?
He has had laminitis previously so don’t know if that affects it. Also are they safe to give at the same time as Dilaterol?
Thanks
