Hi Guys I was wondering if anyone had ideas on getting white numnahs and bandages that have lost there gleaming white back to their natural state and ideas would be great
A good Biological washing powder (Ariel is best at low temps), a scoop of vanish and several days of hanging in the sun. Sunlight is a natural whitener.
vanish, Shout spray on any greasy bits or dark bits, and a good biological powder, and a hot temp. i always do an extra rinse too if i'm putting all that in... someone used a saddlecloth which hadn't been rinsed properly on one of my horses once when i'd loaned him out, he sweated, and all his hair fell off where he'd sweated, it looked like rainscald but exactly the shape of the saddlecloth.
I don't soak in bleach, just a big squirt into the water while it is filling the machine up I have been doing it for years now and jumpings shirts, whites and numnahs all look like new.
