I have mentioned in my post before that my 10 month old lab pup Buster was starved of oxygen for a little while when he was born, and although we saved him, as hes got older we have noticed quite a few issues he has, he acts like an autistic child. But where as a child you can work with them, dogs are not the brightest, so I really dont know what to do.
He has no normal dog fears, like dogs fighting or aggressive to him, he doesnt understand and would happily walk into a fight to say hello, hes not scared of galloping horses, tractors etc even if he sees his mother and sister showing fear.
His problems are mainly in the home, he hates noises like the vacume, lawnmower, jetwash, cellotape, well most household garden noises, and I know most dogs hate some of those things, but he has 3 secret hiding places in the garden, that he stays in all the time, his sister & mum play all day and run around and he justs sits in his safe places shaking all the time, he occasionally gets tempted out with food, but then hes straight back in, where he feels safe, I really dont know what to do with him, I have tried not vacuming for a week, but he still exhibits the same behaviour, I really dont know what to do with him, any advise welcome.
