shes always been spooky but its the worst ever at the mo and just wondered if anyone elses had
is it the time of the year or could it be something else

Yup, my girl is spooking at anything and everything at the mo, makes for some interesting riding! I've cut right back on her hard feed and am sticking to routes she is 100% familiar with. I think its a combination of new grass and her seasons.:)

My boy is being an utter loon recently too. He's normally a safe and sane cob :D

im glad to hear im not the only one its really offputting when they areleaping and throwing them selves all over the place

i thought it was because she was in season but shes not anymore

i am begining to wonder what to do shes on magnesium from herbal heath? because its cheap and was working but i am going to put her on the propper stuff horse first because ive had enough horses are meant to be fun not counting the seconds your able to hang on for

Yes my bombproof, laid back easy mare, took an age to get down from the field today, stopping every five seconds to look/spook at something!! But I have to say despite the spookiness, she was about the most active she's been for a while, and I got some lovely active work out of her today!!!

My gelding must be secretly a mare :)
He is having right spooky moments which has actually stopped me riding him out on the road as i'm scared for my life but it is a catch 22 as he isn't really being ridden and I know he will get worse on the roads if I don't do it frequently.

Mine has got even worse than ever - 17 going on 3, must shy at everything, bolt for home and lunging through the air whilst trying to put all 4 legs in different directions and turning herself inside out, all at the same time!
Had a nasty incident recently which nearly ended in her turning over on me, so, for now, we're sticking mainly to the road...in the school however, once the initial fly bucking ceases, she's lovely off the leg!!

Yess, My normally very sensible 4 year old, bronced the whole way down a huge field, and I hadn't even asked for trot, so tried to be mean and make her do some schooling, when she turned into a complete angel and was perfect. So irritating!

Mine is and so are quite a few others on our yard. I took mine out on his own today and he called to his friends 3 times.

I wouldn't mind so much but it must be the second time i've ridden him all month due to him being hard to catch!

Yep, my girl is being a spooky sod, seems to get worse with age! Generally I have ridden out happily alone on her for years, but I often think twice nowadays!

youre not supposed to say that bit (age)

it seems to be mostly cobs that have gone cooko by the responces

by the way the coloured in the sig is beautiful
