Just wondering if anyone drives at county level. (Showing as opposed to scurry)

Just need to ask a few questions tbh.

Not counting my chickens! But thought I would try here first.

Thanks

Sorry Blue and I just enjoy ourselves but there is a carriage driving forum

Probably not the right circles but you may be able to help, or your dad might...

Just wondering if my pony, who is going to be rebroken to drive, proves too much for me, whether someone would take her on. I dont want to sell her but would love someone to show her.

I dont think she would cope with driving trials.

Thanks. I have someone on recommendation to restart her so will wait and see what they say. I was just wondering whether it is worth pursuing re someone driving her at a higher level (If it comes to that) or whether i am on a hiding to nothing.

Silly really as I drove her happily until we nearly got squished...:(

I do private driving. Years ago, before I started, I tried to get somebody to drive my stallion with their carriage and harness. I think you'll find it a "no no", as nobody wants to risk their expensive and smart gear. I ended up doing it all on the cheap, and have written articles about it. Ebay was a great help! I WAS very experienced at training horses before I started driving, but if you are not, go and find a qualified driving instructor. The BDS yearbook for last year lists Sophie Adkins and Caroline Douglas in Hampshire. Contact the BDS although the secretary can be hard to get hold of. Any advice please feel free to ask or PM. Look up my boy on my website. Just type in my username.
