Two of mine were a little annoyed about being pried off my lap while I found the tape measure and the other two wanted to know why the electric blanket wasn't on yet, but:

Laalaa: 11.5"
Hedges: 9.75"
Genghis: 13" (he is a 7kg monster)
Charlie: 12"

First two are girls.

Interestingly Kizzy is the bigger cat, but think all her energy went to piling on weight not growing her tail

I am not looking at size of cat BUT from the moggies I have seen the size of the cat does NOT in fact have as much of a bearing on the length of tail as you would think...

Havent measured my Lucy's tail yet..but some of you may have read this on another forum or even here, but its very funny.
Have you ever tried tying a scarf around your cats belly? it totally immobilises them and they fall to the floor.

It has been tried and tested on a number of cats including my own, but if anybody's cat does manage to get out of the scarf without having a complete eppy, do let us know!!

Surprised me actually, she is the smallest cat I've ever known, but her tail is very long!
