Nice site. I like the general layout, but have just one suggestion: could you split the 'Services' page out so that each section is on it's own 'page'? Atm it is a little bit overwhelming to have so much info about different things on the one page. Also, you could add cost sheets etc. if you wanted. Just a thought!

Thanks! I will get some more pics! just waiting for new school surface, new mirrors and a treadmill, so hopefull have lots of good piccies to put on soon! Also, if you where looking for a yard/horse/schooling, what would you type into search engines?

Good question!Personally I would start with my location, then probably the discipline I felt I needed at the time.Thats quite a difficult question really!
Can't wait for you to get the camera out!!lol

Your site follows the main elements of best practise web design.

Loads quickly, bright and eye catching home page but not image overload! Navigation Buttons as standard on left hand site are perfect.

I will echo Roaney_Pony and suggest that you emphasis the facilities you have to offer more eg indoor/outdoor Menage. I also think you are right about being more specific in listing prices... people tend to be reticent in ringing places to find out these things and you don't want to lose out to competitors who have all the information available.

I didn't have much time to look at content but as far as the layout goes it's simple and effective

ps Rupert is completely gorgeous!

- Price list (I know I prefer to know what the costs are going to be rather than getting a shock when I enquire!)

- More pictures of facilities etc - I know its something I like to see

- Perhaps a bit of info on you / staff

- Info on things happening in the future - additional services etc - you mentioned the treadmill for example in your other post - if people know that something they may be interested in is not available yet but will be shortly they'll hopefully be encoraged to bookmark the site and check it out later in the year.

- Regular updates - potential clients like to know whats going on.

- Photos of the babies - its a stud, we need foalie pics!

- A vacancy page maybe if you are looking for staff.

I agree with what everyone has said above. I always love pictures! I like that you have a "dairy" where you update what is going on.

One thing you should look at though, when you select "For Sale" on the left and the page changes then on the left menu bar "Current Residents" also becomes bold and indents.

The logos down the right hand side could be clearer. They're pretty fuzzy. And IMO the text bit down the middle is way too pushed together, there's loads of wasted space round the edge so maybe widen it a bit or something? Just had a very quick look but they're my initial thoughts! Lovely neds though!

Nice site my only point is that I find the white writing on the "Sponsorship Opportunities" very hard to read with the green background

But then again it could be just my sight

I've done a fair amount of wed design work and here are a few of my thoughts- i'll pm you some more!
The banner along the top is lovely, i'd try to keep your colour scheme in keeping with this - match some similar colours together. I'm personally not fond of you having black, bottle green, mint and lilac all together. I would either go with all corporate-looking colours (charcoal, black, anthracite, white although i think that would be too heavy for a horse related website) or go with a softer pallet like pastels ie the mint and lilac and maybe introduce some pale blue as well which would tie in with your banner.

I like the easy navigation, it's very clear and the images are lovely.
I'll PM you some examples and some of the sorts of colour schemes I mean.

Nice site with lovely horses.

I'd agree that it's good to update regularly to keep interest.

One point is though that the photo of the lunge lesson doesn't look too professional.
Maybe a better one could be found.
Client's results also backs up your ability as a trainer of riders rather than just horses.

Just a thought also, have you registered the prefix MFS with the Prefix Register?
I ask because there is another stud, Morayfirth Stud, breeding warmblood sportshorses that uses the same prefix.
They may have paid to register it and won't be too chuffed to find someone else using 'their' prefix.

I don't want to be a party pooper but thought I'd better mention it.
