Any Equine retirement homes in Scotland

Where abouts in scotland? I don't know of any specific for retirement but might know of people willing to offer this service.

I am starting up a new livery service, we have a lot of ground, and some buildings, but what would the exact requirements be? and what would peeps want to pay.
The horses would be checked daily and stabled short term if a problem at an extra £20 per week.
Feet, teeth, and any vet costs sent to owner.
Summer would be £18-£20 per week, winter £25 to £30 if outside, because they need more monitoring plus hay/haylage.
I am hoping to have a little area for the ashes of cremated horses, a little garden of remembrance so to speak.

I am very confused??? I thought you had no money, your horse has stangles and is currently living in a boggy field??

That's really great news - and means that, hopefully, your horse is now in a better situation and well on the road to recovery.

Pleased for you:)

sorry OP completely off track here. BUT WHY mrsd123 if you have your own land and buildings was your horse in livery? your very expensive £5k rescue in livery? and if you have your own land and buildings why are you even argueing the toss over a £400 vet bill? which as a vet bill goes is very very cheap! and if you do set this livery yard up lets hope your liveries dont set against you and want to sue!!!!!!¬!!" But gld he has tested clear after months and months of goings on .. oh now only 10 weeks!
