Any farriers on here?? Need help with Imprint Shoe!

Hope you can help. Had farrier out this morning to fit Imprint shoes to my horse. They have not even lasted a day!!!

The one has completely fallen off.

My question may sound really silly, but can I glue it back on myself?

I'm not a farrier but my pony has had Imprint shoes for the last 2.5 years (my farrier came this morning and he is now barefoot for the first time). His Imprint shoes lasted for 3 MONTHS as he grows so little foot. You need to get your farrier out asap, as he obviously didn't glue the shoe on correctly and didn't let the glue go off sufficiently before he put the the foot back down. Was it raining when he put the Imprints on? The one and only time my farrier (who is absolutely brilliant) tried to put the Imprints on in the rain, they just would not stick. Your farrier will need to start with a brand new shoe (you can't reheat the one you've got and stick it back on). Good luck.
 
Bloody Hell! Not what I wanted to hear! No it was not raining, we were under cover. Bugger!
Have tried to contact farrier but no reply as yet!
 
For them to come off within a day he has done something seriously wrong in the fitting! Do your horses feet have grease on them as this can make it hard for the glue to stick. Also - did he use the freeze spray - maybe he didn't let the glue dry enough? Is it the first time he has fitted them? Did he do the training courses?
 
No she does not have any grease on her hoofs. Not sure about the freeze spray as I was mucking out at the time!! And yes it is the 1st time she has had them on. Still cant get hold of farrier, and going on holiday Monday, so in a panick!!
