Hey, just as the title really, I need to feed my horse a diet with preferably no oil, but alternatively as low as possible. Does anyone know of any feeds that don't contain oil?
Thanks :)

Straights would be the best way to feed for many reasons not just to keep oil out of the diet but if you are trying to have control of what you are feeding it will allow you to know what you are giving without using the commercial mixes many of which are full of unnecessary rubbish and are often high in sugar and starch as well as oil in different forms.

Depending on what you are trying to achieve a base of soaked grass nuts or speedibeet would be a good start, add a balanced vit/ min supplement and that along with good forage and grass would be good enough for most horses other than ones working really hard or very poor doers that may require more.
