Decided to move to a yard nearer home in next coupld of weeks simply because after two years, the two hour round trip has got too much.

I'd love to buy the YOs and girls a gift when I leave but stuck for ideas. Hoping to come up with something other than chocolates or biscuits although brain matter not working. Any thoughts please?
 
This is taking forward planning a bit far, but I'm moving away at the end of the summer, up to Northern Ireland. Even after just four weeks the thought of leaving our current yard makes me very sad and all there have been absolutely amazing and already feel like very close friends. So I'm going to do portraits of a couple of horses for their owners, and a photo-montage of another for the girl that runs the yard, since she competes her boy in hunter trials... Hence the forward planning - can sneak the camera up to the yard to take nice pics of horses to base the portraits on, and will attend plenty of hunter trials (which I was planning to do anyways to practice my photography) to build up a photobase for the other.

Don't know if you're artistically inclined, but might be an idea? Alternatively, if it's a yard with a 'team' atmosphere at all they might like personalised polo-shirts/hoodies or something - with the yard name and then their own name/horse name or something? You can get them done quite cheaply but they're lovely, personal and practical.
 
Trish C what you are planning is such a lovely idea although unfortunately not suitable for me.

YOs don't have horses, YOs and staff already have sweatshirts and polo shirts with yard name on and girls who work on yard don't keep their horses there.

Any other ideas really appreciated.
