Just as an FYI the technological addatives to Protexin Gut Balancer are just Brewers Yeast and Acacia Probiotic Powder (Arabic Gum Powder), so assuming an equal mix a Protexin pot of 3.5kg would cost £99 whereas those ingredients bought individually to make up the same volume would set you back £43.75. You could make 6kg of it for £80 if you had somewhere to store it.

Plus or minus added Inulin which you can buy 500g of for £7 depending which website you are looking at the ingredient list on.

ETA: Protexin Gut Sponge is £26 for 1.5kg and is just made of Bentonite, Linseed and Psyllium Husk so you could buy the constituent parts of that too for £29.49 for 3kg which is nearly half what it would cost if you bought two Protexin tubs

I don't rate protexin products personally, the gut balancer i used for years, but my boy still got a runny bum from changing fields. Profix and bind from the vet worked, then I used Radiance Gold, and continue to. No issues since
