Hi all! I have a TBx filly who will be three on Christmas Day.
She was a surprise foal from a mare I rescued in poor condition, who unfortunately died when the foal was 12 weeks old. My cob mare proved to be an excellent foster mum and the filly is healthy and gorgeous.
Mum was almost certainly TB and 16hh, filly looks like a carbon copy of mum, slightly more quality (if you know what I mean!) and a little more substance. My vet seems to think there might be a bit of WB in there (not bad for a BOGOF, and she is jet black, not a spot of white!!)
We have no idea who the stallion was, and no way of finding out and I wondered if anyone had any ideas how big they think she may be at maturity.
OOPS! Forgot to say she is 15hh at present, bum high and knees and hocks still look a bit big for her legs!
