My ISH foal is 8 months old and currently measures 14.2. Any idea how my foal will be when full grow? His mom is 15.3 and dad is 16.1 and is brother is 17.1 at 3 years old.

16.2hh give or take, a little bit bigger if you geld him early on.

Really no way of determining. I had two full brothers; one was 15.2hh at a scrape and the other grew to 17.1hh!

When I was breeding I used to geld mine as yearlings, usually May just before the flies got bad.

Before this years flies are out. If he gets boisterous in the summer you'll have a big boisterous boy to deal with before it's safe to do him when they've died away. He will likely be fertile and could change behaviour quite a lot in the spring.

Ditto this, my previous gelding was 18.3hh and his full sister the year following maxed out at 16.1hh!

How tell was the parent? And was your gelding was gelded at a young age? If so, at what age may I ask?

He was gelded as a 4yo as they wanted to see if he was a stallion prospect - he didn't have the temperament for it!
Parents were 16.2hh and 16.3hh
