Hey,
Im just wondering if anyone can help me!?
Phoebe has always been a little spooky, thats just her. Its taken me a year to get her hacking out alone. We've done running backwards, spinning, rearing... you name it.
She now goes anywhere I ask and shes great with flappy bags, blowing bins etc etc. The one thing im struggling with is traffic. We got pretty good with it but shes always had the odd flinch at odd cars etc, but then we went out in the rain and she basically went back to square 1! Trying to run back/spin/rear...I think it was the noise of the spray. I rode her through it and ive taken her out a couple of times since on her own (shes a little nappy in company and just hides behind and weve made much better progress going at it alone!), shes still flinching at cars, she goes past them now but takes alot of riding forward and does a little bunny hop!?? Shes still POUNDS better than when i broke her for going forwards so not lost any of that..
Shes great to brush, saddle, girth up and doesnt move an inch! shes great to mount, and stands until asked to move.
Do you think its just the fact the spray noise has taken us back a little or could it be something else (She doesnt scare me, its just annoying!)? Any ideas?
