Has anyone had to reinforce their ramp?
I have an Ifor Williams 510 and want to travel a 17.2 ned in it but he is renound as having a bit of a panic and as a result kicks seven bales out of the ramp. I'm going to travel him with a full size breach and breast bar as he is one big ned and has upward fixation of the patella so his back legs lock and this causes him to panic in smalls spaces so the idea is to give him as much room as poss.
He's a lovely horse and really has great potential to compete at Elementary and above and is a waste just sitting at home.
Any sensible advice would be gladly received.

I once saw someone at a show putting a wall mat (foamy type) on their ramp before lifting it up. I have no idea how they were securing it though.

*whispers* I glued my uncles old shagpile rug to the ramp...
