Found this a week ago and assumed a mouth ulcer, the discolouration has cleared up but small round white thing still there feels hard and smooth, dentist friend had a look and didn't really know so has recommended an experienced dentist who is in the area in a couple of weeks and just keep an eye on it until then. No problems eating etc, doesn't seem sore, any ideas?

I had a small hard flat spot like this appear on my own gum a couple of years ago. It was biopsied and came back as " normal gum tissue". It certainly looks like the spot I had so perhaps its just a strange piece of gum tissue.
