I've got an 18" Wintec 2000 which I'm selling as I'm not riding my mare any more, I put it on preloved as didn't really want the hassle of ebay, but it's not gathering much interest. Do I have to bite the bullet and stick it on ebay?! Want a fairly sensible price for it but not sure what reserve to put on it?

You can advertise on H&H classified for free if you want less than £500. Or on Horse Gossip for free. Also maybe try putting cards in your local feed merchants?

I've got saddles coming out of my ears that don't fit my horses but can I find what I need second hand?!?!

I feel your pain, I sent 2 saddles off to my local popular tack shop months ago and they still haven't sold! One I understand not selling as whilst its a decent little saddle the make isn't too well known over here. But the other is an Albion which is for sale at an average second hand price but was ridden in less than 15 times, no marks - doesn't even have a stirrup leather rub on the saddle but its still not sold?! Essentially a new saddle for a second hand price - would think it would sell...*scratches head*. seems really difficult atm :(. So no advice I'm afraid but would be interested in other peoples recommendations! :)

I'm exactly the same currently as above poster! Trying to sell 4 saddles, all £100, much much less than they are worth as english leather Saddles! And trying to buy a new one, but can't find a nice decent priced 2nd hand one!! So stressfull lol. Think I am going to bite the bullet an stick on eBay haha

An Ideal show saddle, in med wide, 17.5" - I'd rather have one that's been a bit worn in rather than a brand new one, it's not even the price that's the issue! I can understand that once you have one of these you don't want to let them go but what really grates is that I have to sell my Ideal Josephine 17.5" wide as it doesn't fit the horse anymore and no one wants to blooming buy it! So we are going showing in a synthetic GP until I can get a replacement and I am not happy :(

I've been trying to buy a cheap saddle for my ever growing youngster, my lovely local saddler has oodles of good quality saddles, need a bit of an oli/cleanup, all for £100/£150, but I need extra wide and they seem very rare!
