horse has always been funny about doing his girth up, and he hasnt been going quite right recetly.

Anyway, vet checked his spine, no probs. Had saddler out, who said he is more muscly one side than the other, and padded his saddle a little, and gave me a pad to put underneath.

Horse is now much better to do his girth up, and his walk is a lot free-er (is that a word!!!) than it was. However, I am still having problesm with his trotting, it seems very short and "choppy".

I dont know if its worth either getting the saddler out again, or trying a back person first to see if there is anything wrong?

You need a McTimoney practictioner, ask your vet to refer you.

Beau had the same thing, more muscle build up on one side, because his pelvis was out, vets arent really specialised enough to sort backs out!

i havent tried lunging him with his tack on yet... something to do this week when I find five spare mins (busy with uni work)
