its a very long story ,but here goes , my friend brought a mare from a rehoming centre about 2-3months ago , there was idications shes had a foal or foals before enlargement in udders etc , when my friend got this mare the history was very unknown part from she was rescued from a dealers in ireland and was on her way to the meat market till the rehoming centre took her , and my friend gave her a home ,
anyway since shes been with us ,she put alot of weight on and far as we have noticed she hasnt had a season , at this point i said to my friend to have her scanned which is happing tomorrow to clareify it , but as time goes on and she has spoken to rehoming centre
it very much looking like she is, as they also said they hadnt notice her being inseason ,she was at the rescue from may till june so very much looking like a surprice foal on its way , anyway where we are we have no stables only 3-4 acres of fields with 2 other horses in with her too.
the question is do you think we get away with sectioning off with harris fencing and inside putting up a gezebo then laying with straw , or if there any other idears you can give us in respects to stabling ??
we cant have stabling or field shelters erected so thats out of the question .
shes very upset this is happing , resue centre said there either take her or the foal back if she cant cope , i have said i help as much as i can regards to foaling as had many experienced years working in breeding buisness but also breeding my own , but she is worried about the grazing sitition
