any info on ground level horse feeders!

Does any one know of a product that feeds horses hay/haylage from a solid construction from the ground that trickle feeds for a guzzler of a pony that suffers from c.o.p.d thats also transportable!
am I the only one who needs one (or 2!) of these ? thanks

umm, i think i'd be trying a horsehage net with tiny holes, and tying it down low... surely nothing could get feet caught in it?
can't think of anything else that limits consumption speed, sorry.

I've used a haylage net tied low for over a year and only had neddie catch her feet in it once (when she just ripped some more holes in it)

Thanks for the info, I have used a net low level but always come back to a tangle of hooves and a very sorry looking pony wearing a string vest!

Have they got shoes on? If so the string could get caught between the shoe and the hoof (my boy does that when he leans over the sheep fencing... gets stuck but eventually just pulls back and rips the shoe off!)
